📖✨ Sunday Post: Life, Books, and Binge-Watching ✨📺

Hello, bookish friends! Another week has flown by, and it’s time to catch up on all the things—personal, bookish, and what’s been gracing my TV screen.

🌿 Life Lately

Work has finally calmed down (hallelujah! 🙌), so I’ve been soaking up some much-needed rest and relaxation. The weather, however, is having a full-blown identity crisis. One day, it’s chilly sweater weather, and the next, it’s practically summer again with these wild 15-20 degree swings. I’m just over here drinking tea and hoping for some consistency.

Valentine’s Day was extra sweet this year—literally! My husband and I had a lovely celebration filled with flowers, candy, and delicious food. A simple, cozy, and perfect day. 💕

📚 Bookish News

This week was very good to my bookshelves (both digital and physical!). Here’s what’s new in my TBR world:

📱 NetGalley Approvals

  • Julie Chan Is Dead by Liann Zhang
  • The Witch’s Orchard by Archer Sullivan
  • Our Last Wild Days by Anna Bailey

📖 Physical Bookmail from Publishers

  • The Gate of the Feral Gods by Matt Dinniman
  • Cold Iron Task by James J. Butcher
  • The Maid’s Secret by Nita Prose
  • Early Thirties by Josh Duboff
  • Blood Beneath the Snow by Alexandra Kennington

So, yes, my TBR has once again expanded, and I am not complaining. 🤩 If you’ve read (or are excited for) any of these, let’s chat!

📺 Streaming This Week

The Cobra Kai era is officially coming to an end, and we’re savoring every last episode. This show has been such a fun ride, and it’s bittersweet to say goodbye. But on the bright side, Jack Reacher is back this week, and you know we’ll be tuning in for that. Bring on the action! 💥

That’s my Sunday check-in! What have you been reading, watching, or loving this week? Drop a comment—I’d love to hear! 💬👇

I couldn’t help laughing at your comment about full-blown identity crisis of the weather. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind having a few almost summer days in between all the grey and cold days we have in London. Looks like a great haul this week!

It hasn’t stopped being cold here, and yesterday it was raining and freezing. I had my hair cut yesterday, and celebrated my daughter’s birthday. Now we have a week’s holiday from school. Looking forward to the rest.

I didn’t realize Jack Reacher started again this week – yay! I’ll probably watch the final Cobra Kai episodes this week. Sure ended on a cliffhanger a couple months ago.

That it did! The final batch does a real good job of wrapping things up and even has a bit of nostalgia to enjoy 🙂

It seems everyone is having crazy weather lately. I love that you had a sweet Valentine’s Day, Tessa. I have not watched any Jack Reacher, but maybe I should now that I have finished all the things I wanted to get caught up on. I hope you have a great week.

We had 3 cooler, windy days, but yesterday and today were wonderful. I certainly can’t complain.
