My Thoughts
Imagine a human raised by trolls and you have the opening to Tooth and Blade. It is a very intriguing premise and I have loved the world building so far.

My Thoughts
Wow! This is not your typical psychological thriller. I literally stayed up until 3am because I couldn’t sleep until I knew how it ended. It was kind of difficult to write a review for though since the ending was what I wanted to talk about most. Hopefully I will find inspiration by the time I edit the rough draft.

My Thoughts
I’ve enjoyed movie retellings of Hansel and Gretal, so I’m looking forward to this novel. I’ve been very disappointed in almost all of the retellings I’ve read in the last year, but maybe this one will give me hope again.

I’m generally leery about fairytale retellings too, Tessa, but I do like the cover of The Shrike, The Shadows. I’m a sucker for a great cover! I’m curious to hear what you think of it.
I may be able to start it tomorrow – My current read is progressing very quickly, so fingers crossed.
I have read The Shrike and The Shadows. It was fine but most retellings lack for me.

Please See Us is all over my reading radar, though it may be a while until I can get to it.
I started The Other Mrs. last night and am thoroughly engrossed. Really loving it so far!
Please see us is very different than The Other Mrs. Darker and grittier – well, it’s set in Atlantic City, so…. I think you would like the paranormal element which is intriguing. But for overall satisfying read, I would say The Other Mrs. wins.
I like the setting of Please See Us, and a paranormal element is a plus. I guess I’ll just have to read that one too so I can compare 🙂

Someone featured The Shrike and the Shadow on their TTT post yesterday, and I was just talking about how it sounded really good and I should check it out. xD How timely. Welp, it came highly recommended from … some other book blogger … because wow I cannot remember names. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you think!
I am really curious too. I finished Tooth and Blade this morning so I may start it tonight.
