When life gives you lemons… add a splash of gin! A deliciously feel-good romantic comedy for fans of Sophie Ranald

When Liv’s high-flying career goes off the rails, she finds herself working at a glitzy new gin bar to pay the bills. She’s never let romance distract her, but with one very hot colleague, a mysterious online follower who might just be her soulmate, and a lot of cocktails, her dating life is about to be shaken up…

But is Liv looking for a sparkling flirtation, or something a little stronger?

Sometimes you have to face up to your past, seize your future, and mix your own recipe for happy ever after…

My Thoughts

I’m just starting Gin Lovers Guide today. I’m hoping it will be as funny as the title implies. I could use a light hearted comedy 🙂

A first love summer romance full of intrigue, lust and lies.

From the moment she met him, Ella Peterson had questions. As always, though, she’s too shy to ask.

Older and sexy as hell, mysterious Adam Brook soon sweeps sheltered Ella off her feet; but is he as perfect as he appears to be, or is there more to him than he’s telling her?

Ella’s world has already turned upside down after moving from England to rural Kansas. She and her sisters were hoping for a more secure future, but instead find that life can be tough when jobs are scarce and the stakes often higher than anticipated.

When events spiral out of Ella’s control, she learns the person she needs to rely on most is herself and her instincts on who to trust in the future.

It’s just that her instincts are screaming at her to trust Adam; it’s what he tells her that makes that a problem.

This is the first book in the Falling for You series and ends with a ‘happy for now’ conclusion.

My Thoughts

Definitely suspenseful and action-packed, I’m still processing my thoughts on this story. I wasn’t partial to the way it ended and the fact that the main male protagonist kept calling the main female protagonist “baby” also bothered me. But, overall, it was a good story and I did find myself reading the sneak peek at the next book in the series – which is a good sign 🙂

The perfect couple … or the perfect lie?

A year and a half ago, Gemma met the love of her life, Danny. Since then, their relationship has been like something out of a dream. But one Friday evening, Gemma returns home to find Danny is nowhere to be seen.

After two days with no word from her husband, Gemma turns to the police. She is horrified by what she discovers – a serial killer is on the loose in Bristol. When she sees the photos of the victims she is even more stunned … they all look just like Danny.

But, the police aren’t convinced by Gemma’s story. Why has no one apart from Gemma seen or heard from Danny in weeks? Why is there barely a trace of him in their flat? Is she telling them the truth, or are there more secrets and lies in this marriage than meets the eye?Perfect for fans of Liane Moriarty, Shari Lapena and Lisa Jewell.

My Thoughts

I’m looking forward to reading this book. There is just something about it that intrigues me.

It does, doesn’t it? I think it’s a blog tour book though it’s through NetGalley. The books in that blog tour can be kind of hit or miss, so we’ll see ❤️
