The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

What is your favorite part about the book blogging community?
(submitted by Julie @ JadeSky)

I love so many aspects of the book blogging community, but my favorite is chatting with you all. I love that I discuss books and have become blog friends with people across the US and all over the world. I learn not only about books, but so much about other traditions and cultures – it amazes me every day. And to think that we come together over books blows my mind.

I’m so thankful to you all for taking the time to read my posts and talk books and writing with me. You enrich my life everyday ❤️🤗❤️.

I agree with you. It’s amazing to connect with so many people all over the world and talk about books you love.
It is wonderful ❤️
Agreed 😊
🤗🤗🤗
My answer would be the same as yours. And I love the High School Musical gif! (That song’s going to be stuck in my head all day.)
Lol. That song always pops in my head whenever I talk about anything remotely like team work or community. My hats off to the people who created it for the staying power it has. ❤️
I agree! I’ve “met” so many people from across the world through blogging. And I get to talk about books with all of them – you can’t top that!
Definitely can’t ❤️❤️❤️
Totally agree Tessa it’s the people that keep me blogging, oh and the books of course! 😂
You combine the two and nothing could be better ❤️
I totally agree Tessa. I find myself saying all the time, “One of my blogging friends said”, or “I just read something about that on one of the blogs I follow” and so on. I love all the people I have met and am so glad to have joined this community.
It’s a wonderful community 🤗
What you said💜 I had no idea it would be this way.
I didn’t either. ❤️
I have several blog friends with whom I am very close and would be devastated if something happened to them. I’ve met a few folks in person and over video chat. Arranging a meeting for someone in the Philippines is interesting, as we are both in our pjs but for different reasons, lol.
Blog friends are great ❤️
I agree, it is lovely to be able to speak to people in other countries about books. I love seeing your comments all of the time, you have really helped me feel welcome becoming a new book blogger 😊
🤗🤗🤗
It’s definitely the chat for me too. Seeing how different things are elsewhere – or how similar they are to my little corner of the UK – is always fascinating.
It fascinates me too.
You thoughts are the same as mine. What a great community the book blogging community is.
It truly is ❤️🤗❤️
