The world-building in Night of the Raven, Dawn of the Dove is incredibly fascinating and unique. I’m enjoying it so far, and I look forward to getting further into it today. I’m not sure what else to say about it at this point, though I will say that is more of a dark fantasy as the violence starts pretty quick in the story.

I loved The Vine Witch trilogy and now I can honestly say, I am equally as enamored with Luanne G. Smith’s new series that begins with The Raven Spell. It’s a great blend of a crime thriller/mystery and a paranormal/fantasy. I posted my review of this Kindle Unlimited gem yesterday. (the ebook with audio is available through Kindle Unlimited for both books 1 and 2).

There may be some FF reading in Marlowe Banks, Redesigned by Jacqueline Firkins as I saw a blurb today that described it as steamy but it also looks like a lot of fun, I think. Early reviews have been very good, which is always promising.

It’s all about the ravens in October, I guess. But, yes, that is funny. The books are nothing alike though. Not at all! I guess a raven is a very versatile bird. 🤣

These look interesting. I’ve only recently started reading fantasy thanks to D. Wallace Peach and her outstanding books. Currently, I’m reading a women’s fiction novel by Catherine Ryan Hyde titled Allie and Bea about a young runaway and a senior who lost everything. Her books are heartwarming.
