Voracious Reader or Booknerd? Which are you? | #BookBloggerHop #bookish #discussionpost

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Billy @ Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to their own blog.

Which do you prefer to be known as: a voracious reader or a book nerd?

Voracious Reader!!

It just sounds so active and quick. Like I go through lots of books in a short time and I do! So, that’s my pick. What’s yours?

Which are you – a book nerd or a voracious reader?

I’m guessing I would be a voracious reader too 😂

You do read a lot of books 😊

  2. Sheri Dye Avatar

I don’t really care what anyone calls me.. I’m reading. 🧐

I never really thought about labels either.

      1. Sheri Dye Avatar

It just feels like labels complicate things more than not.

    I’m a voraciously reading book nerd 📚💜

      😂. I love the combo!

I’m voracious reader but I would also love to be nerd who remembers quotes and even can tell which book had certain quotes..

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

I’m lucky if I remember the character names and plot details 😂

I joined in today as I don’t like either term! I’m happy to be a bookworm! 😀

      I like bookdragon! 🐉❤️🐉

Definitely a voracious reader. I don’t think that I am particularly nerdish about books.

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

      I don’t think I am either but I definitely read a lot.

I mean, Voracious Reader does sound a lot cooler? But I’m a nerd at heart so a book nerd for sure! 😍

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

      Booknerd is cool too ❤️

    Ditto what you said!

We are a like in many ways 😊

I don’t mind both! The word ‘nerd’ is fabulous though so would love to be called that!!!!

As I said on IG – Booknerd it is then!

I would also go with Voracious Reader, as I prefer reading to talking about books. But, either title is fine with me!

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

This is very true. I prefer it as well.

Definitely a voracious reader. I’m not into collecting books or bookish ephemera and I don’t do loads of research into what’s new or what’s hot. I just read!

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

Me too! I just read and enjoy ❤️

  12. BonnieReadsAndWrites Avatar

    Voracious reader for me too!

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

We all read so many books. Could you imagine the extensive library we all could create together.

  13. Davida Chazan Avatar

Because of my dyslexia, I don’t read as much as I would guess a real voracious reader would. That said, I’m not really a nerd either… hm…

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

I think you can be whatever you feel like you are. ❤️❤️❤️

      1. Davida Chazan Avatar

How about… Devoted Reader! That works for me.

        1. Lady Tessa Avatar

          That’s perfect! ❤️

  14. Hooked By That Book Avatar

Can I be both? But leaning more towards voracious reader, for sure! Looks like I’m in good company. 🙂

    1. Lady Tessa Avatar

      Definitely!
