Fab reviews i definitely like the sound of the Nora Roberts!
It was very good. A bit long but that’s the only real critique.
600 pages *is* hefty, I should start this series. I’m glad you enjoyed both of them. Fantastic reviews!
Definitely hefty!
I love the idea of an epic poem summarizing the previous book. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these books, Tessa.
It’s a very cool way to catch the reader up
I’m happy to hear you enjoyed The Battle Drum – and I’m really happy there’s a poem summarizing the first book. That will help me a lot when I get to it. Why don’t more authors do that? Have a great week, Tessa!
I don’t know. It was such a help. Especially since the story is so complex
I still need to read a Nora Robert’s book. Great reviews!
This was a good one!
Thanks for posting your reviews, Tessa. The Battle Drum is outside the usual type of fantasy settings — I’m most intrigued. Hugs.
It’s very complex and pulls from African lore, if I remember correctly
I will drop everything and begin listening to Identity as soon as the audiobook comes in. The narrators always are superb for her standalones. Love your review, Tessa💜
You will enjoy this one!
I really enjoyed Identity too.
It was very compelling
I love the sound of Identity, I’m still to read a book by Nora Roberts but I need to, great bullet point reviews 😊
She’s such a prolific writer, your sure to find one that interests you.
I haven’t read Nora Robert books yet but now I want to. Amazing reviews!
You should!
I completely agree with everything you said about Identity. It was so realistic, but also chilling.
I really liked Identity too, and I also loved the Mom, Grandmother, and the Vermont setting.
They were my favorite!
