Let’s Discuss Fictional Characters You’d Like to Meet, plus my weekly updates

What fictional character would you most like to meet in person?

(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

My Answer:

I’d like to meet most of the main characters in the books I read. But I’ll choose my top 3 from my memory for this question:

1, Findlay Donovan because she is so relatable yet finds herself in some interesting situations and she’s a writer.

2. Lizzie Blake because if she was real she would be one of those people that I instinctual avoid but then once I got to know her we’d be best friends. She fascinates me.

3. Iris Winnow from Divine Rivals because I just adored her inner strength and her determination.

I’d love to meet Sherlock Holmes and Conan Doyle oh and Aslan and Mr Tumnus! 😀

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

Aslan!!!! Yes!!! Those are all great picks 💕

  3. Jonetta | Blue Mood Café Avatar

Oh, that’s easy! Hands down they would be Eve Dallas and Roarke from the InDeath series. Individually, they are fascinating. As a couple? Off the charts.

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

Oooo…From your reviews, I bet they would be great to meet!

      Definitely!

I’ve always wanted to meet the BFG. That book got me into reading it was so magical. There are at least 20 other characters, but that one sticks out the most. Have a great weekend!

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

That would be fun! Great choice!

  6. Dini @ dinipandareads Avatar

Great post! I totally agree with Lizzie. I think it would take a little bit to get used to her energy but I think I’d definitely love to hang with her. And I’d ask her to make me a cheeky baked good 👀😂

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

      Definitely! 🤣

  7. Mae Clair Avatar

Oooh, this is an easy one for me… A.X.L. Pendergast. Of course, I’d probably be too intimidated by him to talk to him, LOL!

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

      Ooo…Yes! Of Course! That’s a great choice!

      1. Mae Clair Avatar

        😆

  8. Teri Polen Avatar

So many! I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Kaz Brekker was the first to come to mind. Myron Bolitar and Win (Harlan Coben series). I could go on and on, but I’ll stop here.

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

You’re like me. I want to meet them all 😊

  9. One Book More Avatar

I would love to meet Iris! And I’d definitely want to meet Rhysand from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series but for entirely different reasons. lol

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

      Great choices!

  10. Davida Chazan Avatar

When I read Kate Quinn’s The Huntress, I fell in love with the character of Nina. She’s who I’d like to meet!

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

      Sounds like a wonderful choice!

  11. Carla Avatar

That is a tough question. I would also love to meet Finlay Dovovan as she is such a hoot, but smart too. I just finished reading a Julia Bird Mystery and she is also a character I would love to meet. I think I would really relate to her in so many ways. Oh my goodness, there are so many…….

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

There are totally so many. We are of like minds 💕

  12. Kim Avatar

Hmm… I think my top three would actually be from TV. And no surprise to anyone who knows me. Olivia Benson, Beverly Crusher, and Elizabeth Olivet. But, upon futher reflection, if I were chosing from books, I’d probably go with Firekeeper (Jane Lindskold), Ukiah Oregon, (Wen Spencer), and maybe Ria (Anne Logston’s Wild Blood).

    1. Tessa Pulyer Avatar

Great choices! I would love to meet Beverly Crusher too! (Did you watch Picard on Paramount+?)

  13. Kim Avatar

I’ve watched seasons 1 & 2 of Picard on cable (and now own both on DVD or BluRay – one of each, I think), and when (hopefully) Season 3 comes out I’ll buy it too. I’ve only seen the first two episodes of Season 3 (long story, involving moving). Of course, it would’ve been nice if they’d *warned us* that Season 3 was going to have Beverly as part of the main storyline!!
I see recently Paramount + in Canada has changed their mind about having Star Trek on it, (among all the other changes with the parent company) so maybe I’ll do that eventually… So many other things in life to manage. Streaming is all so new to me.

  14. Books Teacup and Reviews Avatar

So many to list here but on the top will be Nikolai, Kaz, and Inej.

  15. Books Teacup and Reviews Avatar
