Happy New Year’s Eve!
My house was so full from the week before Christmas until now – full of people, cats, presents, and food. I was so glad to spend Christmas with family, but it is also a relief to finally have my house back.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary on Friday and had a lovely gluten-free dinner at The Melting Pot. Our server asked us what the secret to a long marriage is – I told him to make sure you always remember to laugh together, even (and especially) if you are in the middle of an argument.
So, that was my week – how was yours?

I received 2 NetGalley ARCs and 5 physical ARCs. I did not get any books for Christmas this year but I didn’t ask for any nor have any that I wanted (and hadn’t already bought 🤭):

We watched a lot of classic Christmas movies and claymation shows. One of my all-time favorites is A Year Without A Santa Claus. It’s the one with the Heat Miser and Snow Miser. It always makes me happy!

Happy Anniversary, and Happy New Year. I agree, marriage is about laughing together.
I think it reminds you that no argument is so dire that you can’t see the humor in things. Happy New Year!

Hahaha, I can relate about being glad to have your house back. We celebrated at my parents’ house, and again for Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve… and I always enjoy it, but I also enjoy getting home to the quiet. 😆 Happy new year!
