This week started extremely cold – way below normal with lows in the teens and ended at 70 degrees (high). And it ended up raining from Tuesday on. Last night it was still pouring. I thought we might have to get the kayaks down from the garage ceiling. Somehow, in all that it managed not to snow or ice – just rain.
So, that was my week – how was yours?

I accepted the below widgets for NetGalley this week, plus I got some physical books this weekend but I’ll have to share a picture of them next Sunday. The physical books always seem to come in fits and bursts.

If you haven’t watched Traitors, you should!!! All versions and seasons are fun to watch. I’m currently watching the US season 2.

It was so incredibly hot here this week with not a rain cloud in sight until yesterday. It rained on and off throughout the day but I hope that it keeps raining cos the humidity is killer. 😂 I hope you have a great week ahead, Tessa!
It’s like that in the summer here. I guess you are having summer now – aren’t you?
Those are all new-to-me authors in your book haul so I’ll be on the lookout for your reviews. I’ve never watched Traitors and will check it out.
Have a wonderful week, Tessa💜
You definitely should! It’s so fun to watch – A mystery turned into a game with no script.
Nice book haul, Tessa. Have a great week ☕📚🪱😊
They all look good!
We had several days of rain here, too. It was predicted we were going to see sun and hit a high of 62 by the end of the week, but it stayed cloudy, drizzly and cool (50’s). I can’t wait to see 70s again.
Congrats on another book haul. I’m currently trying to decide what to read next. So many choices, LOL!
You’ve got some excellent choices too if I remember correctly. Enjoy whatever you pick!
Happy Sunday! I’ve been debating about watching The Traitors but it’s finished here now so not sure if I can watch in catch up xx
The US version or the UK version? Oddly enough, the US version has a UK player.
The UK one x
I have watched the second series of the British version. It was brilliant and even though a traitor won, I was kind of rooting for him. Part of it was the way he was as a traitor. He needed the money for his family.
The traitors on the US version (at least one of them) are easy to root for too.
Last year, I didn’t empathise with the traitor. It depends on who it is.
OMG I love The Traitors. It’s so fun!! The Dangerous Ones and The Hunter’s Daughter both look really interesting! Will need to check those out!
My Sunday Post
It’s the best show. We’ve even watched a little of the UK and Australian versions.
Sorry it was so cold for a few days and sorry it’s been so rainy. When it rains continuously like that, I’m always worried about flash flooding or flooding in general. I’m glad you didn’t need the kayaks and I hope the rain has finally stopped.
I’ve never watched The Traitors but it looks really good. I’ll have to put it on my to watch list.
I hope you have a great week!

Definitely put Traitors on your watch list. There are also UK and Australian versions (on Peacock) They are all a little different but very compelling!
It’s been so rainy but it was a mix of rain and sleet today bc the temps got cold. The weather has been all over the place but we got so much rain!! I hope next week is a bit clearer for us! Have a wonderful week!
Next week is supposed to be dry for us – maybe just a little rain Wednesday morning. That’ll be much nicer!
Oh yeah, definitely!
Our weather also warmed up significantly this past week. It was lovely. All the snow is melting. Have a great week and enjoy your reads.
That’s nice!
We didn’t reach the 70s, but had plenty of rain and got into the low 60s one day. Hope your window is repaired by now. I also got The Dangerous Ones – hope we enjoy it.
It’s not but they are coming tomorrow- Finally!
I think everyone had a weird weather week, Tessa. It’s been all over the place. Intriguing book haul, and thanks for the recommendation of Traitors. I’ve seen it flashing by as my husband browses, but haven’t tried it. I’ll give it a go. 🙂
It’s a lot of fun so definitely do! Hubby should like it too (or at least mine does 😂)
🙂
Thankfully this year it’s weather is normal here. I hope you enjoy those titles.
That would be something wouldn’t it? Kayaking around your own neighborhood? Glad it didn’t come to that since if it did it would mean your house was pretty much wrecked.
It would have been pretty funny.🤣
