Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is Top Ten Quick Reads/Books to Read When Time is Short. Most of the ones I have here are on Kindle Unlimited. I have not read any of them, but I am interested in reading them because they are by authors that I enjoy very much and a mix of genres.

- Veronica Ruiz Breaks the Bank by Elle Cosimano
- The Recital by Gregg Hurwitz
- The Shell Game by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg
- Randomize by Andy Weir
- Summer Frost by Blake Crouch
- Shadows for Silence by Brandon Sanderson
- Snow Flakes by Ruth Ware
- Let Her Be by Lisa Unger
- Love the Way You Lie by Lisa Unger
- Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez
Do you have any quick-read recommendations?

I love the Amazon Original short stories and novellas! They’re such a great way to shake things up.
I’m so glad I found them. I can see where they’d be perfect in certain situations.
An interesting list and all new to me too! One terrific short book I read last year was ‘My Evil Mother’ by Margaret Atwood – fantastic as one would expect!
I love Margaret Atwood! I’ll have to add that to my list.
Great list, Tessa! All these sound interesting. I love having quick reads in between books.
I can see where that would be nice!
I don’t really read many really short books. My go to books when I just want a quick read are usually cosy crime which are often around 300 pages and easy to read.
Those are great choices!
Great list and very helpful. I keep a list of short stories on hand just for these purposes. In fact, I’m listening to one now that’s free on Audible and the beginning of a series, The Sisters by Dervla McTiernan. It’s really good.
I’ll be keeping this list. I can see where having a quick read would be perfect in certain situations,
I like Lisa Unger, so I have to check those two out. This is a very good list, Tessa!
She’s written a bunch of short stories.
Snowflakes looks good! I was surprised to find how many of the classics are pretty short. Here’s my TTT: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2024/02/06/top-ten-tuesday-quick-reads-books-to-read-when-time-is-short/
That they are!
Fab list I’d definitely read Worst Wingman Ever by Abby Jimenez!
I’m going to keep this list. I can see where having a short read here and there would be perfect.
Great list! I loved Jimenez’s book. CLo’s book is also fantastic and I would recommend it too (not sure if you’ve read it yet)! 😍 I haven’t heard of many of these but I’m gonna check out a few and probaly add them to my TBR, lol. Thanks! 😃
I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed it. That definitely solidifies it’s place on my TBR.
Jimenez’s book is on my tbr! Great list of books this week!
All of these are now on my TBR. My poor TBR 😂
An interesting mix of books. I haven’t read any of these and some of them are new to me. I do enjoy the odd quick read, so I’ll have to check some of these out.
me too!
I think that Janet Evanovich could write a 600 page novel and it’d still be a quick read. Love her!

I think so too 😂
I see some intriguing titles and authors I like among your mix. I hear Amazon calling, LOL!
At least these are quick reads 😂
I hope you enjoy reading all of these when you can!

How did I miss the one by Blake Crouch? I’ll read anything he writes.
I was surprised by all these short stories by great authors like him. So much to read – at least they are quick reads.
I just discovered that Amazon Originals is a constant thing and not just something that pops up once in awhile. I’m so excited!
Your list is great. A couple others that I loved are The Bookstore Sisters by Alice Hoffman and Signal Moon by Kate Quinn. It’s amazing that so much emotion and plot can be put into something that’s less than 100 pages long!
Don’t you just love Kindle Unlimited? I recently read and enjoyed Worst Wingman Ever.
I didn’t realize that Lisa Unger has some other novellas. I will check them out. I have enjoyed the novellas that were in between full books in the Orphan X and Kate Burkholder series.
She seems to have a number of them.
Good to know.
