Top Ten Tuesday | Covers/Titles with Things Found in Nature

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is Covers/Titles with Things Found in Nature – I chose to focus on covers with water since that’s my happy place. Here are my Top Ten book covers with water from my NetGalley TBR:

  1. The Seaside Sisters by Pamela Kelley
  2. Ladykiller by Katherine Wood
  3. The Sleepwalkers by Scarlett Thomas
  4. Look on the Bright Side by Kristan Higgins
  5. Bad Tourists by Caro Carver
  6. Summers at The Saint by Mary Kay Andrews
  7. The Break-Up Pact by Emma Lord
  8. Nonna Maria and the Case of the Lost Treasure
  9. Every Time I Go On Vacation Someone Dies by Catherine Mack
  10. Christa Comes Out of Her Shell by Abbi Waxman

What’s a book cover or title with things found in nature that you love?

I love water on the cover, it definitely attracts me. I believe I have 5 of these books on my TBR.

I bet! I think you love the water as much as I do, Carla

I think water may be my happy place, too, since I find it hard to resist books with that feature on the cover.

It definitely is mine. That’s probably the only thing I miss about my hometown is the water (it’s surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay on one side and the ocean on the other.

Water is definitely my happy place, so I fully support your choices – even though I haven’t read any of them, lol.

      I haven’t either – yet! 😂

A fun prompt, Tessa. Seems like thrillers and romances and lots of beaches! 🙂

Fab list, love that ladykiller cover!

Even though it’s a thriller – that cover makes me happy!

Water and beaches on a book cover always draw me. It doesn’t even have to be an ocean–could be a river, lake, or even a pool. I find a lot of good suspense novels are written around those settings. Nice share, Tessa!

I love all water too 😍. I was surprised that all of these are more ocean.

The book cover tells the reader what to expect without words.

While I generally find water relaxing to look at and to be around, I also enjoy being around trees and nature in general. If only I had the time and energy to enjoy it like I would like. I hope you enjoy reading all of these books.

I love watery covers and watery settings. It’s cool how water can be used to depict so many different moods – relaxing, eerie, dangerous, mysterious, etc. I haven’t read any of these, but BAD TOURISTS looks like my kind of thing. I love a good mystery/thriller!

    Happy TTT!
