Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is Movies/TV Shows That Would Have Made Amazing Books. Let me clarify – amazing books before they became shows/movies. Many of the shows and movies on my list have since inspired books but they aren’t the same as ones that might have inspired the show.

Great list, Tessa. The only ones that I have watched all the episodes of are Gilmore Girls and Lucifer. I really need to watch Suits though, I have only ever heard good things about it.
The last time my eldest son was here, he started watching reruns of Gilmore Girls, and you know what? It does stand the test of time. Still clever, still funny, still enjoyable!
Well, I see five that would be on my list! Can you imagine a Gilmore Girls book series?? And Desperate Housewives!!! We can only dream. Fantastic list!

Absolutely Lucifer! I’d read every one of them. Also agree about the John Hughes movies.

I love Criminal Minds and I would be so curious how they would turn that into a book. It’d be an amazing series, I think! 😂 I just know that I’d definitely read it, lol. Great list!
I remember reading Star Trek books as far back as junior high school. That series will never grow tiresome!
Big Bang Theory would be an amazing set of books!

Some brilliant shows, Criminal minds is one I want to watch.
I would have loved to have read The Blacklist as a book, but nothing could portray Red like James Spader.

What an interesting question. I usually note the books that turn into movies, but not so much the other way around. There are a bunch of limited series that would probably make good books. (And of course, my mind goes blank. Lol).
