Happy Sunday bookish friends!
Another week has flown by, and it’s been a whirlwind. This week was packed—again—but I’m really hoping this is the last truly chaotic one for a while. Fingers crossed!
Life Lately 🌦️
The weather cannot make up its mind. One day, it’s full-on spring with sunshine and birds chirping, and the next, winter comes roaring back like, “Did you miss me?” I’ll include a graphic below so you can see just how wild the swings have been. I’m not putting away my sweaters yet, but I also need my allergy meds on standby. Classic transition season!

Bookish Delights 📚
Despite the busyness, I still managed to add some exciting new reads to my shelves! This week’s book haul includes:
📖 The Otherwise Post by Emily J. Taylor (NetGalley) – A historical fantasy with a mysterious boarding school? Yes, please!
📖 The Medusa Protocol by Rob Hart (NetGalley) – A sci-fi thriller with spies and cyberpunk vibes. Sounds intense!
📖 Cold Burn by A.J. Landau (NetGalley) – A high-stakes thriller that promises lots of action.
📖 Destiny’s Way by Jack Campbell (Book Mail) – Space opera goodness! I love getting book mail—it’s like a little gift from past me to future me.
I’m excited to dive into these soon and will, of course, share my thoughts as I go!

What I’m Watching 📺
We finally caught up on Severance and Traitors, which means we’re now stuck in the agonizing limbo of waiting for weekly episodes. I forgot how much I enjoy a good binge session until it was ripped away from me. But honestly, both shows are worth the wait. Severance is as mind-bending as ever, and Traitors is giving me all the reality TV scheming I could want.
Looking Ahead ✨
You may have noticed that I kept my book reviews until Saturday. I want to try this schedule to see if it works better for me whether I have a busy week, a light week, or something in between. With luck, this next week will be a little calmer. I’m hoping to settle into a better reading rhythm and enjoy some cozy bookish moments before spring officially takes over.
How was your week? Any great books, shows, or life updates to share?

The weather is driving me nuts!! We were doing chalk on the driveway last weekend and now it’s cold and gloomy. I can’t wait for spring, but I think winter is going to drag out. I hope you have a great week!!
Cold and gloomy – that sums it up very well
We’ve had topsy-turvy weather here, too. Here’s hoping your schedule levels out soon. I haven’t finished the first season of Severance because it gave me a brain cramp😏 I’ll resume at some point. Have a great reading week, Tessa💜
You should be hit by the same bands as I am, I would imagine. The first season of Severance got so much better by the last 3 or 4 episodes. That’s the point we couldn’t stop watching.
The Otherwhere Post looks intriguing! Hope the weather is more level for you this week!
The weather is still crazy but work got more low-key

I am going to check out The Otherwhere Post. We’re getting crazy weather too. Three straight days of rain coming this week.
You’re only about an hour and a half away from me now, so mostly our weather will be similar. Hope the rain isn’t causing too much damage your way!
I loved The Medusa Protocol. Did you read the first book in the series? If not, I’d recommend it. Happy Reading and have a great week, Tessa!
I’m not sure if I did tbh. I’ll have to go check.
Thanks quite a forecast! Fickle weather and hard to plan around, I’ll bet. Good think you have some good reading coming up, Tessa. And thanks for the “watching” recommendations. We decided to finish all 6 seasons of The Resident, but we’re almost there… then we’ll be desperate for something new. 🙂
The weather has definitely been fickle. I’m longing for some consistency especially without rain.
