Top Ten Tuesday | Books On My Winter 2023-2024 To-Read List

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The topic this week is the top ten books on my winter 2023-2024 TBR (must-read) list, and below are mine:

Are any of these on your winter TBR, or what are you looking forward to reading this winter?

I still need to read Emily Wilde #1. I thought Bride was coming in spring?

How have I not heard of Not Your Crush’s Cauldron? It sounds so good!! Happy reading, Tessa!

It’s the same series as Not Your Exes Hexes which I read this year. It’s published by SMP. I loved Not Your Exes Hexes so I’m excited to read this one 😊

Nice list, Tessa. Finlay Dovovan, Evan Smoake, Love Naturally and This Cursed Light are all on my TBR as well. They aren’t on my list today, because I had to stop at ten. 😁

So many books! It was hard for me to choose too!

The Orphan X series is still ongoing? I hadn’t noticed that. Then again, I haven’t really been paying attention. I read the first 2, or maybe it was 3, I’ve forgotten, but ended up giving up on the series because the story keptt getting darker and darker, and more and more hopeless, without any inclination that anything would change in that sense. I don’t mind dark subject matter, or dystopian type stuff, but there has to be some degree of potential there for things to improve, or I can’t read it. I had the same problem with the Dresden Files. Both are series I enjoyed what I read of, but had to give up on because they were just too hopeless. (The tv series of the Dresden Files is one of my favourites though, what little there is of it!)

It did get some hope and then got a bit darker. I’m curious to see where it goes with this newest one.

Interesting titles, Tessa! Can’t wait to read your thoughts on new Hazlewood book.

Great list, Tessa. I’m looking forward to the third in the Crescent City series by Sarah J. Maas releasing the end of January.

Ooh! I had to steal a couple of these for my pile. I hope you enjoy them all and thanks so much for sharing!
