Spring is in the air, the flowers are blooming, and if youāre anything like me, youāve probably already sneaked one (okay, three) chocolate eggs from the Easter basket. Happy Easter, friends!
Whether youāre spending today gathered around the table with family, chasing little ones through the yard for an egg hunt, or savoring a quiet moment with your current read and a pastel-colored marshmallow peep, I hope this day brings you all the joy, warmth, and renewal that Easter represents.
Thereās something magical about Easter that always makes me want to start fresh. Maybe itās the spring sunshine or the sight of tulips and daffodils pushing up through the soil. Or maybe itās the sheer delight of seeing a bunny in a bow tie delivering treats like heās on a mission from the Easter Fairy Godmother. Either way, Iām here for all of it.
And of course, no holiday is complete without a good book by your side. Whether youāre diving into a cozy mystery, swooning over a springtime romance, or losing yourself in a sweeping fantasy world, this weekend is the perfect time to indulge.
Here are a few Easter weekend reading vibes Iām loving:
- A sweet small-town romance with porch swings, pie, and second chances
- A twisty whodunit featuring a garden party gone wrong
- A cozy fantasy where the local witch brews potions and hides eggs enchanted with good luck
- A heartwarming family drama where secrets come out over Easter brunch (because of course they do!)
Whatever your plans todayābe they egg-filled or page-filledāI hope this Easter brings you a little extra joy, a touch of magic, and at least one moment where you can stop, breathe, and feel truly grateful.
Happy Easter from my little book nook to yours!
Now tell meādid the Easter Bunny bring you books or chocolate this year?

Happy Easter, Tessa. The Easter Bunny brought chocolate for my grandkids, but I snuck a few. We will be celebrating with an Easter Egg hunt and dinner tomorrow as they are at their Nonna’s today.
So fun!
Hope you had a great Easter, Tessa! We were traveling back from visiting family, and this is the first year I can remember not dyeing eggs. I got books – no chocolate.
